Sydney Philharmonia Choir

Entry by audition, this choir was next level. We performed in the iconic Opera House twice a year and once a flash mob Christmas Carol session in bustling Pitt Street Mall (see santa hat pic). The size varied from about 300-600 pax depending on performance. We always had a full orchestra accompanying us and were lead by the charismatic and fantastic conductor, Brett Weymark (see video). We performed a Gershwin Musical “Of Thee I Sing”, Karl Jenkins “The Armed Man”, William Walton “Belshazzar’s Feast” a Christmas Medley (which was beyond thrilling – I’m obsessed with Christmas) and a true highlight was performing Handel’s “Messiah” for our Christmas Concert 2015 (from memory mind you!). In a world first we were supported by Auslan – The Australian Sign Language Choir. Attached video is of the famous “Hallelujah Chorus”.
